Our other fantastic teachers are Eman Zaki (oriental) and Mohamed Kazafy (folklore).  For more details on the teachers click on the side bar.  Also classes with Sarah Farouk, Kay Taylor and Tracey Gibbs.

We rarely get the opportunity to dance with live music .... so this is your chance. It is an incredible opportunity to develop your understanding of live music with our orchestra 'Layali el Helwa'.

Whatever level you are, you will take something away from this. Dancers can choose to work with live music - up to and including a rehearsal and performance in the show. Others may want to take part in the workshops to find out  how you go about working with a live band ...... but may not want to actually do it!  Whatever your level this is an incredible opportunity.

See a taste of the 2009 Farha Festival. (Farha Festival 2009)

Teachers and timetable varies every time, with a mix of familiar favourites and new faces, but if you want to get an idea of what to expect have a look at our video collage by Tracey Gibbs.

Mohamed Khazafy, former soloist in the Reda Troupe, will be with us all week. He is teaching workshops in the Reda style. Both technique - and choreography. You will get the opportunity to work with professional male dancers in Luxor. Khazafy has created a piece of choreography specially for the Farha Festival. How much fun will that be?  Those that want to have the amazing experience of performing with a folklore troupe instead of a solo can do so.  Or you may choose to do the classses but not have the pressure of performing.

In addition, by popular demand, there will be taster sessions from Sara Farouk, Kay Taylor and Tracey Gibbs.

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
