Our Promise

We want your Farida Adventure to be the best holiday ever.

If there is anything you want to do or see specifically, let us know and we will either include it in the schedule or facilitate it so you can do it. This is obviously dependant on availability as things change constantly. Especially in Cairo.

Our terms and conditions are below. If you have any queries, don't hesitate to contact us.

CANCELLATION OF LATE BOOKINGS
If you book within 4 weeks of the departure date of your trip and you need to cancel your booking, points 3) and 4) of the cancellation clause above apply.

Please see 'Insurance' below.

CANCELLATION OF HOLIDAY
In the unlikely event that we may have to cancel your holiday, we will let you know at least two months beforehand and refund all monies. Some of the trips have to have a minimum number of participants. To date, this has never happened.

MEDICAL CONDITIONS
If you are affected by a condition, medical or otherwise that may affect your or other clients' participation in the holiday, it is your responsibility to advise us of this at the time of booking. We cannot accept responsibility for your condition but we do need to be aware of it. It is your responsibility to make sure you are fit and well enough to participate in the holiday. Please consult your medical practitioner if necessary before you book. It is your responsibility to ensure you have taken out insurance for any condition, medical or otherwise.

SURCHARGES
As prices for holidays are set many months in advance, on rare occasions we may have to impose a surcharge, if this happens we will let you know at least 28 days prior to the departure date. If the surcharge is more than 10% you will be entitled to cancel with a full refund, however you must let us know within 14 days of the date of our surcharge invoice. We must stress that surcharges very rarely happen. Since Farida Adventures was formed twelve years ago, this has only happened once.

PASSPORT, VISAS and INSURANCE
It is your responsibility to ensure you have a valid passport, and visa if required. It is also your responsibility to have insurance, the post office do a good deal, but it is worth shopping around. We suggest you take out insurance for your trip, including your flights. Please ensure you take out insurance before you book your flights otherwise they may not be covered.

FLIGHTS
Flights are not included so you can shop around for a cheap deal. If your trip is dependant on minimum numbers, we will say so in your confirmation letter and advise you not to book flights until we know the trip will run. When you book your flights, please send us the details.

HOLIDAY PARTICIPATION
If you have a complaint or problem about any part of the holiday, please tell us at the time, it is only if we know about a problem that we can try to put it right.

SECURITY
Farida Adventures has the security of a trust fund, which in the case of insolvency will refund any holiday monies paid in advance. All monies are held in the trust fund until your holiday takes place.

The trustee is Jane Moreman. In the event of insolvency, you can write to her at:

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
