This trip ran for the first time in May 2025. Feedback was so good – and I fell in love with Lefkada so decided to run it again.
Karen Hall is based near Lefkada and will help host this fabulous week. Karen knows the best places to visit, the best restaurants with the tastiest food and will give us a local insight into Lefkada and this amazing coastline.
Kay Taylor will lead dance classes focussing on Egyptian rhythms and musical styles – from old classics to new chart toppers. Some technique, some information, some interpretation, combinations and choreography …… and lots of fun. Classes each morning with free afternoons to join included excursions, sign up for optional extras ….. or do your own thing.

Sunday 10th May 2026
Arrivals day – dinner together at a local Greek taverna with delicious local dishes to try. (included)
Monday 11th May
Dance class 10 – 12
2pm: Orientation around Lefkada – visit sites of interest – Karen shares fascinating information and facts about the history and culture – locate good bars / restaurants to try out later in the week!
Free evening
Tuesday 12th May
Dance class 10 – 12
2pm: Included walking tour to Lefkadas Byzantine fort (a 15 minute walk). Karen tells us of its history. From here you can walk on to a cafe, continue round the salt lake (another 4 km) or head back to our hotel.
Free evening to explore local restaurants and nightlife. Welcome to join Kay and Karen or do your own thing.
Wednesday 13th May
Dance class 10 – 12
1pm: Bus to mountain village of Kariya. Visit local folklore handicraft museum. This area specialises in spinning, weaving and embroidery. Time to wander round the village, check out local shops and cafes. Possible included Greek dance class (Either here or at hotel another day).
From here we take a scenic tour on the bus and go to Karens home. Karen is a great hostess and is cooking local dishes for us. There will also be wine and soft drinks. Karens home has fabulous views across the valley – the access is quite steep – so sensible footwear recommended. Bus back to hotel. All included.
Thursday 14th May
Dance class 10 – 12
2pm: Cookery demonstration. We go to a local restaurant for this cookery demonstration. You will learn the secrets behind a couple of local dishes……… and we get to eat them and more! All included.

Friday 15th May
Dance class: 10 – 12
Free afternoon and evening. Optional excursions available. Or explore Lefkada town.
Saturday 16th May
Dance class 10 – 12
1pm: Bus to Nidri. Choose to chill out on the local beaches – or take a ferry trip to the island of Meganisi. Explore the village, take a walk – the scenery is stunning. Ferry back to Nidri where you can explore the local shops or go to the beach.
We will meet for drinks about 6pm then go to the Greek Taverna with Greek music and entertainment. This was everyone’s favourite night in 2025. The cheesy Greek night …….
Bus back to hotel. Transport, meal and entertainment included (drinks not included).
Sunday 17th May
Departures
This holiday is the ideal mix of dance and relaxation.
Dance in the morning and relax each afternoon and evening.
Do your own thing or join in with the group excursions.
