PAYMENT
The deposit is non-refundable. See current holiday information for when instalments are due. We regret that instalments cannot be paid by card but by bank transfer or cheque. The balance in Luxor must be in cash, preferably Sterling or Euros - as this is payment for the teachers / band. Cheques should be made payable to 'Farida Adventures' and sent to 9 Ferndale Avenue, East Boldon, Tyne & Wear, NE36 0TQ
SURCHARGES As prices for holidays are set many months in advance, on rare occasions we may have to impose a surcharge, if this happens we will let you know at least 28 days prior to the departure date. If the surcharge is more than 10% you will be entitled to cancel with a full refund, however you must let us know within 14 days of the date of our surcharge invoice. We must stress that surcharges very rarely happen. Since Farida Adventures was formed ten years ago, this has only happened once.
PASSPORT, VISAS and INSURANCE It is your responsibility to ensure you have a valid passport, and visa if required. You can buy your visa on arrival at Luxor Airport. It is also your responsibility to have insurance, the post office do a good deal, but it is worth shopping around. Ensure you take out insurance before you book your flights otherwise they may not be covered.
FLIGHTS Suggested flights are posted on the web site. Last year there was plenty of availability on the Wednesday which is why we booked these dates. The flights were also significantly cheaper. Because they are charter flights through Thomas Cook etc, they obviously try and sell package holidays first then release flight only seats.
CANCELLATIONS In the unlikely event that we may have to cancel your holiday, we will let you know at least 2 months beforehand and refund all monies.
HOLIDAY PARTICIPATION If you have a complaint or problem about any part of the holiday, please tell us at the time, it is only if we know about a problem that we can try and put it right. If you are affected by a condition, medical or otherwise that may affect your or other clients participation in the holiday, it is your responsibility to advise us of this at the time of booking.
SECURITY Farida Adventures has the security of a trust fund which in the case of insolvency will refund any holiday monies paid in advance. All monies are held in the trust fund until your holiday takes place.
